Peer Review

 After completing my magazine, my teacher made us present what could be said our final products for now. The feedback I received made me feel satisfied with the effort I had put into my project since only the cover page took me more than 10 hours to complete since I am not an expert with the software required to be used. Still, I did miss some essential parts of a cover of a magazine.

One of my peer's suggestions was to add a selling line, which with everything that was going on in my cover, I completely forgot to leave a space for it because I wanted to fit so much into it but it ended up looking a bit too congested instead of attractive. I plan to move my masthead to the top and above my feature article to make it more recognizable. It was also said that there were too many colors, but with the inclusion of the flags, which was something very liked as well, it makes it hard to find something to match every color, what I think I will do is have a more simple background-color and try increasing and decreasing the tones of it to see which one matches the best, or even maybe have a color shadow coming from the flags dispersing in the whole page. Lastly, I will try to fix the error from the United States flag's missed star on the bottom of the cover page, which is going to be a battle, but I will accomplish it. 

Many of my peers liked my content page, which ironically was my least favorite part of my magazine, but I guess what matters is the audience's opinion since, at the end of the day, they will be the consumers of the product. They liked the colors' vibrancy, the theme consistency throughout the magazine, and the numbers in yellow. Someone also suggested centering the word "Contents" and delete the line that went through it because it seemed a little off, which I will think about fixing as well.

For my feature article, what I heard the most is that it was very "pleasing" to look at. Many people like how I organized the text and even the way the tile was placed, which some said made my article fun to look at; with the colors and the big quote, people seemed attracted to it. When one of my peers said that it was close to "perfection," I realized the time I had spent working on it had been worth it and felt very grateful.

Before completing my final product, I have an idea, which consists of posting some of my final product to my social media where I will conduct a poll to obtain more opinions and suggestions that will help me achieve the best final product that I could possibly ever do.
